Appleton Estate Signature Blend is an aged Jamaican rum at 40% ABV, made in the Nassau Valley in St Elizabeth parish at one of the oldest continuously operating sugar estates and distilleries in Jamaica.

What makes it Jamaican in character is the pot still component in the blend. Pot distillation carries over more of the heavier flavour compounds — the fruity, slightly funky quality rum drinkers call "hogo" or simply Jamaican funk — and blending it with lighter column still rum keeps it approachable. Oak ageing adds structure on top.

The result is a rum with real personality: orange peel, molasses, oak and warm spice with that distinct Jamaican fruitiness running through it. It is good enough to drink over ice and interesting enough to build a proper rum punch or daiquiri around, where a neutral white rum would give you nothing.
