About Sauza Tequila
Sauza is one of the founding names of tequila. Casa Sauza has been distilling in the town of Tequila, Jalisco since 1873, and Don Cenobio Sauza is credited with identifying blue agave as the best plant for the spirit and with first exporting tequila to the United States.
The bottle itself is an everyday tequila at 40% ABV rather than a sipping showpiece: light agave, citrus, a pepper note and a short finish. It is built to be mixed, and it is priced to be mixed generously.
Use it for volume drinks — margaritas by the jug, tequila with grapefruit soda, or anything with lime and ice where the tequila needs to be present but not precious. It handles being shaken and batched without falling apart.
