Tequila Beyond the Margarita
Margaritas are the obvious starting point, but tequila can move in a few directions. Blanco usually feels brighter and more direct, which is useful when lime, salt, and citrus are doing the work. Reposado spends time with oak, so it can bring a warmer profile for slower drinks or a rounder mixed serve.
That range matters when one order has to cover shots, Palomas, margaritas, and people who may sip a small pour. Lime is still useful, and grapefruit-based mixers can make tequila feel lighter without hiding the bottle completely.
